"There are two meaningful days in a person's life: the day we are born, and the day when we find out what for."
-William Barclay
"Throughout my life I've been not only a musician, but someone who truly lives music. It was out of pure love, passion and an obsession with music, that I dedicated my life to music. I have never been focused on making profit out of my music, but rather on following my inner spiritual calling."

"(...) The unquestionable musical talent, which surprises with the personal understanding of the music art, required the audience's full attention and offered them opportunity to experience special sensory and spiritual atmosphere. The natural gift for creating and experiencing music is in harmony with the personality of Mateo Granić. His curiosity and striving for new musical developments, fascinates and inspires both the lovers and the professionals of the saxophone music. Whether the young musician steers all of his energy into the classical literature or into the improvisation, he always develops attractive and fascinating interpretations. With his appearance, Mateo Granić achieves to create strong and above all cordial communication with the audience. He combines his devotion and performing skills, with his spiritual revelations and explorations of his inner being. The young Croatian musician, a unique musical feature, inspired and deeply touched his listeners during the improvisation and concert appearances at the Saxophone Days in Slovenia (Nova Gorica)."
